Date of Publication: 2004, Houghton Mifflin Company. Tolkien wrote and illustrated a letter from Santa Claus for his three-year old son. Published in 1976, the thin volume contains the text and illustrations of all the letters J.R.R. Tolkien on the Post-Conciliar Church. Tolkien's world was Tolkien himself. As I was plowing through the massive Letters of JRR Tolkien this week I came across a little gem that I'm sure many people have read but I have never heard any commentary on.
